I am glad that you found your way to my shop. I very much hope that you like the flairdrum and would like to offer you the best possible service. This shop has existed since the beginning of 2021 and is the result of my 6 years of passion and dedication for this instrument. The flairdrum inspires and surprises me every day with its uniqueness, holism and clarity.

The product consists of more than just PET bottles and valves. Starting with the self-developed mallets, the practical and continuously optimized holder, the low-noise suspension and the selection of PET bottles with the best possible sound experience (100% recycled and collected by a supplier network), an instrument with a unique character and history awaits you. Everything is handmade and shipped by myself and I always do my best in terms of quality and delivery times. The musical instrument is still young and its design is unique in the world. The development is certainly not yet finished.

I am now working full-time on the flairdrum project. The main source of income are my workshops in the educational field in schools and refugee shelters, as well as at festivals and private events and my flairdrum concerts. I am excited to see where the journey will continue and already feel richly gifted with many beautiful moments.

I remember one day a guy came to my house with a crammed small car with more than 400 disposable bottles that he and his friends drank and that I still use to do my workshops. To find the bottle with the best sound, I wandered around the supermarket for hours, striking, twisting and turning them all, looking like it was the most normal thing in the world. When looking for valves, I know all the bike shops in my neighborhood. I know everyone at the largest beverage company in town where I spent hours unscrewing bottle caps. At the beginning of 2020 I contacted various development organizations and NGOs to organize 200 PET bottles in Ghana and Burkina Faso to hold workshops with school children there. I look into so many amazed faces when I play my instrument at concerts or on the street. And I try to give children and all the young at heart carefree moments in which they can build their own flairdrum.
